Arotin & Serghei créent un univers de couleurs en superposition, en mouvement, en fusion et en éclat.

En avant-première à Genève et en coopération avec museum in progress, l’exposition présente des tableaux et installations faisant partie du projet “Infinite Screen”, oeuvre d’art total, work-in-progress, initiée au Konzerthaus Wien en 2013, puis développée au Festival Ars Electronica 2014 et à la Biennale di Venezia 2015.

La démarche se poursuivra en tant qu’installation de 1300m2 sue la façade principale du Kunsthistorisches Museum à Vienne en septembre 2016.


Biographie
Espace Muraille

Austrian artist duo, creating multidisciplinary intermedial installations and paintings. Arotin, born in Vienna, studied composition, art, film and setdesign. Serghei, originary Russian, studied art & history in Moscow, Montpellier and Vienna.

The duo presented recently Mute Space and Black Light at TEFAF-Maastricht, “Pink Sound” in Paris, “Traces” at MACBA Barcelona, “Microcosmos” in Milan, “White Screen” and “Crazy Cells” in Brussels in occasion Art Brussels at Gallery Flore and in Berlin. In Austria they realized [non lieu] – one of the first video mappings in the world – an installation for Beckett’s “Godot”; in 2013 the first part of Infinite Screen at Wiener Konzerthaus with Klangforum Wien in cooperation with museum in progress, as well as the solo show “Free Cells” at Bildraum Gallery Vienna.

2014 Ars Electronica Festival showed the intermedial paintings cycle and installation “EVERYTHING WE SEE COUD ALSO BE OTHERWISE” in homage to Ludwig Wittgenstein. 2015 “White Point” installation for Deep Space 8K, Ars Electronica media collection, “Infinite Screen” part I the installation and live animation at Biennale di Venezia – Musica , and simultanously a preview installation of “Infinite Screen” III curated by Martina Mazzotta at Gujral Foundation, Palazzo Benzon, in cooperation with “museum in progress” and Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna, as a part of the official collateral event of the 56 th Biennale di Venezia.
